3:43 PM ExxonMobil (XOM) says it is considering participation in a tender of six blocks in northern Afghanistan, as the country seeks bidders for the exploration and production of oil and gas in the Afghan-Tajik Basin. The government signed a deal last year with China National Petroleum for the development of oil blocks in the Amu Darya basin in the north. (Read the comments on this)
